Who we are

Supernova FC is a different kind of youth soccer environment.

We are competitive, but our competitive strength comes from research-backed player development — not pressure.

We train players to read the game, trust themselves, and stay motivated from within.

Through thoughtful coaching and intentional culture, we help players grow into confident teammates, leaders, and humans.

We are new, so you would be coming along for the ride at the very beginning of a very exciting journey.

A note from Christie:

I built this club to offer something different — something better. After years of watching coaches and clubs cling to outdated methods and beliefs, I saw firsthand the damage caused by the “win-at-all-costs” mentality. When playing time is used as punishment, when kids are run through monotonous drills in the name of “training,” when joy is replaced with pressure, it’s no surprise that children are leaving sports at alarming rates.

Through studying the philosophies of successful professional coaches and diving into the science behind how young people learn, it became clear how urgently youth sports needed a new approach. Modern research in psychology and motor learning shows that children develop more deeply and retain skills longer when they discover solutions through guided play rather than receiving constant instruction. This type of environment trains perception, adaptability, and decision-making — the true foundations of intelligence on the field.

Many people assume that “fun” and “competitive” can’t coexist, but the opposite is true. Fun FUELS competition. Enjoyment increases the likelihood of entering a flow state — the high-performance mindset where athletes think clearly, react quickly, and play instinctively. In flow, the brain becomes calmer and more efficient. Players see the field more clearly, make faster decisions, and connect with their teammates on a natural, almost effortless level.

Ultimately, play and exploration build smarter, more resilient athletes. And that is the heart of Supernova FC.
